ScriptShark Scouting Script Not for the Faint of Heart

The latest script to gain scriptshark's industry access is not one for the faint of heart: Steve Warren's "Burnt By Light" studies serial killers, and the men and women who hunt them down, focusing in on the mourning father out to avenge the death of his son. This masterfully executed screenplay features brilliant character work, creating flawed and ultimately haunted characters who get under the reader's skin.
The screenplay was discovered through ScriptShark's coverage services, which provided the following logline for the material: Haunted by the release of his son’s killer, a homicide detective takes on a case involving a politician and a potential vampire that haunts his very existence. The screenplay is well paced, carefully structures, and delivers tension with every story beat.
The logline for the screenplay was sent out to over 25 industry executives today, and already requests for the material are coming our way. The darkness of the material keeps it from being an "easy" sell, but we are certain it will impressed anyone who takes time to read this piece of work.
