Launched in 2007 in collaboration with Final Draft and Script Magazine, the ScriptShark Seminar Series is the only workshop series of its kind, focusing entirely on the business side of a screenwriter's and a writer's career. While other organizations and consultants focus on business elements such as logline and pitching, our educational series paints a comprehensive picture incorporating all of the professional elements a screenwriter and writer must master on the road to success. The ScriptShark lecture & seminar series aims to inform and empower the committed aspiring screenwriter, and prepare him for the realities and demands of a career in the entertainment industry. Focusing on application of practical skills, our workshop will help you set realistic and attainable career goals, master your winning personal tools, identify your writing's place in the industry, view your work from the all-important producer's perspective, explore effective paths to securing representation and getting your script noticed, and perfect your logline and pitch.
