Do I have to purchase a Basic Coverage before I can purchase comments only coverage?
Yes. In order to qualify for a Resubmission Comments-Only coverage, you have to have purchased a Regular, Story Notes, Notes Plus, Ultimate Pack or Reaction Pack coverage for the screenplay in the past.

Will I be able to qualify for scouting off of my Comments Only coverage?
Yes. Except for Treatment Coverage and Story Notes, all of the ScriptShark coverage services provide you with a general pass/consider rating, through which we identify projects that qualify for scouting.

Do scripts go from a Pass to a Consider rating from one submission to the next?
We find that when a writer continues to develop the screenplay accordingly to their analyst's comments, it is likely that their script's rating will improve, though there is no telling how many drafts may be required to reach a Consider rating. Additionally, it is important to note that some screenplays are not rewritten in an efficient enough manner to ever warrant a Consider rating. An analyst may make all of the comments in the world, but the execution rests on the writer.

Why would I want to work with the same analyst?
Working with the same analyst allows you to create a continuous relationship, and receive consistent comments regarding the progression of your screenplay from draft to draft. However, we always remind our writers that it will take many positive impressions to support your success, so unless you are rewriting your work in accordance with your analysts notes, we recommend getting as much varying feedback as you can for your screenplay.
